3 Ingredient Salted Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

These Salted Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups are fudgy, lightly sweet, and SO satisfying!
If you crave something chocolatey or sweet in the afternoon (or anytime) you need to keep a stash of these in your freezer!
As a bonus, these chocolatey treats also provide a bunch of nutrition, like protein from collagen and nut butter, energizing fats from MCT oil, and minerals from raw cacao powder and Himalayan salt.
This recipe uses our Salted Hot Chocolate elixir and just two other ingredients - unsalted peanut butter (or any nut/seed butter of your choice) and a sweetener (I use maple syrup but you could swap it for whatever kind of sweetener you prefer). If you want a delicious keto friendly treat you could leave the sweetener out or use monk fruit or stevia! You can also make these nut free by using sunflower butter or tahini. Yum!
3 Ingredient Salted Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
4 tbsp Honest Elixirs Salted Hot Chocolate
4 tbsp unsalted, natural peanut butter (can substitute any other unsalted nut/seed butter)
1 tbsp maple syrup, or to taste (can substitute for another sweetener of your choice)
Directions:
In a small pot over very low heat, very gently warm the Salted Hot Chocolate and peanut butter until they just start to melt. Remove from heat and stir to combine. Add your desired sweetener and stir well.
Spoon about 1.5 tbsp into paper or silicone muffin liners. Place in the freezer to set for about 15 minutes. Remove from liners and store in an air tight container in the freezer. These are best when enjoyed frozen!
Note:
This recipe is easily halfed/doubled etc, based on how big your chocolate craving is! As it is, it makes a fairly small batch, but they last a while because just one of these cups is so satisfying.
